Distributor in Southwest Florida
Kathy Arnold is our distributor in Manatee, Sarasota, and Charlotte counties in Southwest Florida. Kathy is 47 years old, married and has two children. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1975 with a BS in Retail Marketing Management. She had an 8 year career in retail management in the women’s apparel business. She was district manager in the Detroit area for a national chain, which sold over 7.5 million annually. Kathy then took a position as Director of Store Operations for 13 stores in Michigan. She returned to school and received her MBA from Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas. After receiving her MBA, Kathy took a position in bank Operations and Management for a major bank in Dallas, Texas and taught a 300 level marketing course at Texas Christian University. Kathy started her own independent fabric store which she operated for 5 years. During that time she designed many different fashions and created many sewing patterns. She sold the patterns with instructions at her own store and 30 other fabric stores around the country. Kathy relocated to Venice, Florida to be closer to her father and mother after her mother became ill. She currently lives in Venice with her family. Kathy became a Germ Out™ distributor on November 19, 2001. On November 22, 23, and 24 she set up a booth at a PTO Fair for her children’s school. She advertised “free hand washing” on the doors of all the portable toilets at the Fair. Since there were no sinks with soap and water, the signs attracted over 800 people to her booth for a “free hand washing” with Germ Out. In addition she handed out business cards, literature and explained Germ Out to at least 400 of the 800 people attracted to her booth for a “free hand wash”.
